Moving Conifers

Conifers and other evergreens can suffer badly from dehydration of the foliage straight after moving due to the severing of roots. Winter winds also exacerbate the problem. One way to get over this problem is to build a windbreak of netting around the plant and to water the foliage regularly. Doing this will help keep the plant hydrated while it produces a new root system in as quick a time as possible.DSC02773
